So I am getting Certified as a Scuba Diver. Michelle took it as a class last year, and she loved it so much that she wanted me to get certified. Well I Did my first open water dive today. I'll be honest, it was a little intimadateing. The thought of breathing underwater is a little unnatrual, and the place that we went to go scuba did not help. The place is called "The Crater". It's a geothermal hotspring that stays at a temp of around 90 degrees year round. Oh, and it was snowing. Well, the water level is about 40 feet down into the crater, so there is alot of steam so you could not see very far, and when you looked into the water you can only see about 20 feet, and the crater is 65 feet deep. To put it bluntly it looked like something out of a movie. Well, got in and had a great time. the nice thing is that I took a one on one class, so I did all the things that i needed to do to get certified, but because there was no one else in the class, as soon as we got that stuff out of the way, I got to go exploring. we only went down to 35 feet, but it was still fun. On my second dive of the day I got to go all the way down to the bottom, (normaly you have to have more dives to do that, but because I did so good on my first dive I got to go to the bottem) It was cool, The bottom is only about 6 inches thick, then it opens back up and I don't know how deep it is, but it was still cool to put my hand into the floor of the crater, and have it go through and then feel a current of the underground river and open water. All in all it was alot of fun and I am looking forward to thursday when I get to go diving again.

Sounds surreal. That's kinda how our wedding day was. We got married June 24th and it was snowing. Crazy. I've always wanted to learn scuba diving.
